Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef

Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef holds the distinction of regularly observing monthly Giyarween Shareef not just in Pakistan, but across the globe through the active participation of Khadimeen (Servant/ Devotees of the Darbar). In keeping with this practice, Sipah Salar e Aqeeda e Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat, Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badshah Sarkar M.E. presided over the Jamadi-us-Thani / January 2022 on Friday 14 January 2022, at Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef, Kotli Sattiyaan, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

The Mehfil began in the name of Allah SWT with recitation of the Holy Quran by Tauqeer Hassan Meharvi. Allama Jahanzeb Hazarwi introduced the gathering to the blessings and importance of Giyarween Shareef and its observance at Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef. Professor Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah Kazmi Khatteb e Abbotabad was among the noted speakers on sufism, the sunnah of Ghaus e Azam and the blessings found at Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef.

Naat e Rasool ﷺ

Prominent Na’at Khowaan presented Nasheeds of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). National award winning Na’at Khowaan Raja Qair-ul-Hassan Dhaniayl rendered soul stirring Na’ats while Qari Muhammad Ibrar, Touqeer Hassan Meharvi, Hafiz Nasir Khan (UK), Sultan Qadri, Faizan Qadri, Rehan Qadri, Chaudhary Ahsan were among the other gifted Aashiqaan-e-Rasool presenting their love for the Holy Prophet peace be upon him and Syedna Ghaus e Azam R.A.

Sermon of Sahibzada Hazrat Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E.

Sipah Salar e Aqeeda e Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat (Upholder and Defender of the Seal of Prophethood) Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E. addressed the attendees towards the end of the ceremony. Beginning in the name of Allah SWT, Hazrat Haq Khatteb M.E welcomed the gathering to the auspicious mehfil of Giyarween Shareef, reminding everyone that all zikar-azkaar and charitable actions are done in the name of Allah SWT. It is worth noting that for every Giyarween Shareef, hundreds of Khatam-e-Quran (completing a full reading of the Holy Quran), millions of recitations of Durood-e-Pak and recitations of various Surahs of the Holy Quran are done for the blessings (aisal-e-sawab) of Hazrat Ghaus e Azam, Pir-aan-e-Pir Dastigir Syedna Sheikh Mohiuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani Al-Hassani-wa-al-Hussaini, at the call of Qalandar e Douraan Hazrat Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E.

Hazrat Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E. highlighted the significance of Giyarween Shareef, as the Sunnah of Huzoor-e-Ghaus-e-Azam who taught us to seek Allah SWT’s forgiveness and mercy on this night. The History of Giyarween Shareef dates back to the times of Hazrat Adam A.S; when Allah SWT accepted the Tauba (repentance) of Hazrat Adam A.S. it was the day of the 10th and night of the 11th, when Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. set out to make the sacrifice of his son Hazrat Ismael A.S. it was the day of the 10th and night of the 11th and finally when Hazrat Imam e Hussain R.A. sacrificed himself and his family in the cause of Allah it was the day of the 10th and night of the 11th. We observe the 11th night for sadqa and ibadaat because it is a night when Allah SWT is very merciful and accepting of all that is offered in His way.

Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E emphasized that the visitors of Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef are not looked upon as patients, rather they are the guests of the Darbar and guests are a mark of Allah SWT’s mercy.

The ceremony concluded with a special Giyarween Shareef Dum, followed by Salam-e-Aakhir for the Holy Prophet peace be upon him and Dua for all attendees. The entire mehfil, including dum and dua, were broadcast live on Facebook page and Youtube channel.
