Hazrat Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E. Sermon, Dum and Dua

His Holiness Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badshah Sarkar M.E. began his sermon in the name of Allah SWT and with Durood and Salam on the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him. His Holiness’ message is always one of love, peace and tolerance for all humankind, regardless of cast, creed, religion, or gender.

In his Sermon, Sipah Salar e Aqeeda e Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badshah Sarkar M.E noted that during the month of Ramadan Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef is blessed to host the largest iftari in Pakistan which was held on the holy occasion of Giyarween Shareef and served to more than 7,000 people.

Speaking with reference to Giyarween Shareef and piousness of Hazrat Ghaus e Azam Peeran-e-Pir Dastageer R.E, His Holiness Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E. said that

Wali Ullah (Saints) are born of pious mothers. Hazrat Ghaus e Azam RE’s esteemed father was once travelling along a river bank. He was became hungry and looked around for something to eat. He saw an apple floating in the river. He reached out to the water to lift the apple and eat it. Once he had eaten the apple it occurred to him that perhaps the apple belonged to someone else, how would he answer to Allah SWT on the Day of Judgement for it. So he asked around and found out that there was a nearby garden, he met the owner of the garden and said to him that I have made a mistake; I ate an apple floating in the river without your permission. He (the owner of the garden) replied that this is not an (excusable) mistake, you will need to pay retribution for this. He (Hazrat Ghaus e Azam’s father) asked what the retribution would be. The owner of the garden replied “you will serve me for 12 years, you will shepherd my goats as shepherding goats is the sunnah of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him. Until a person fulfils sunnah, they cannot become Wali Ullah. So after 12 years of shepherding goats, Hazrat Ghaus e Azam RE’s father asked the owner of the garden for permission to leave as he had fulfilled his duty. The owner of the garden replied no, you still do not have permission as I have one more condition. Hazrat Ghaus e Azam RE’s father asked “ what is the condition”. He replied, I have a daughter who is blind, deaf, dumb and unable to walk. You will marry her and then I will forgive you for the mistake you’ve made.” Hazrat Ghaus e Azam’s father replied that if you will forgive me in this world, then I accept this (condition).”

After the wedding took place, on the night of the wedding when Hazrat Ghaus e Azam RE’s father went into his wife’s chambers, he saw a beautiful woman sitting there. Hazrat Ghaus e Azam RE (saw her and) said that your father said you were blind, deaf, dumb and could not walk. She replied, my father said correctly, as I have never used my legs to walk outside the home, never seen a non-mehram* with my eyes, never heard the voice of a non-mehram with my ears, never spoke to a non-mehram with my mouth”. Such mothers give birth to sons like heart Ghaus e Azam RE.

Hence His Holiness emphasized on one messages for the Giyarween Shareef; that pious mothers only teach two things;

  1. My child, respect the Auliyah Allah (Saints)
  2. Love the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa peace be upon him.

These are the teachings which bring honour to them.

Hazrat Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badshah Sarkar M.E also made a reference to history that the Martyr of Karbala Hazrat Imam Hussain R.A was born of a mother of great honor, she (Syeda Pak Fatima Zehra R.A) was the lady in whose honour the Holy Prophet peace be upon him himself would stand, whenever she arrived. Imam Hussain R.A stood up to Yazid the ruler of 3 continents, proclaiming that he will take Yazid’s arrows alone but not fear his power over the 3 continents, as his grandfather (the Holy Prophet peace be upon him) was the Seal of the Prophets.

In light of this, Sipah Salar e Aqeeda e Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badhshah Sarkar M.E. addressed the mothers, sisters and daughters present to always guide their children to respect the Auliayh Allah (Saints) and to love the Holy Prophet peace be upon him. When their sons proclaim the Glory of the Seal of Prophethood, it will be a source of eternal glory for them.

Qalandar e Douraan Hazrat Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badshah Sarkar M.E also gave a message for the Servers (Khadimeen) of the Darbar e Aaliyah Balawara Shareef that they should set two missions for their lives; first the Fear of Allah SWT and secondly, the love of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him. Badshah Sarkar further said that it is only when the Khadimeen have the love of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him in their hearts will they have respect for their father, respect for their mother and respect for the Auliyah Allah. The reason for this is that all beauty in the universe, all the glory and honour of the universe stem from the door of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him.

Badshah Sarkar further addressed the Khadimeen, emphasising that to be a Khadim means to serve with love, with loyalty. Loyalty in turn is the way of Imam Hussain R.A When you give love, you gain love and when you are loyal, you gain blessings and success of both worlds.

Sipah Salar e Aqeeda e Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali Badhshah Sarkar M.E. also recounted the hugely successful Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat conferences at Fateh JangGujranwala and Mian Chunno, which were attended by tens of thousands of people from all across Pakistan, held before Ramadan Kareem began.

As the final message for the Giyarween Shareef Mehfil, His Holiness Badshah Sarkar declared that for us the joy of our lives “ ronak e zindagi” is the Holy Prophet peace be upon him and anyone who loves the the Holy Prophet peace be upon him. Badshah Sarkar prayed for the health and peace of all the attendees of the mehfil, for the believers and lovers of the Holy Prophet peace be upon him.

The Mehfil concluded with Dum and Dua, followed by Durood and Salam for the Holy Prophet peace be upon him and special prayers for Ummah, Pakistan, Pakistan Army. His Holiness Sahibzada Haq Khatteb Hussain Ali M.E. further emphasised that benefaction, mercy, cure from all illnesses and ailments come purely from Allah SWT. No human being can bestow these upon another of their own volition.

*non-mehram: In Islam, a person with whom marriage/nikkah is permissible, and therefore a person from whom modesty/perhda must be observed unless a relationship of marriage exists.
